Finally, someone says something of value.
Like, STOP testing kids every day of their lives.
STOP trying to get 5th graders to do algebra they are not developmentally ready for.
STOP giving teachers ulcers because they are at a loss for a little brain to understand a big concept they are NOT ready for.
STOP making standards a mile wide and an inch thick.
Kiddos need time to develop....who would have thought...develop? A foreign concept? Not to me, my friend, a human development major.
Reform education. Good job, NY Times editorial, giving people something to think about.
