Dirty minds

Seventh grade boys have really, really dirty minds. This conversation actually occurred.

Me: "If you are quiet, we can listen to the radio."
Everyone: silence
Me: Turn on radio
Shiny: "Can you change the station? This music...is like...old."
Me: "I'll try." Proceed to try to change the station.

Then, Lil' Wayne's Bedrock came on. (Don't know the lyrics...check out here!) So I quickly changed the channel.

Bedlam ensued.
Shiny: "Why'd you change it?"
Me: "Because its inappropriate."
Shiny: "Why? Fred Flinstone is from Bedrock."


Me: "Well if this song had, yaba dabba do in it then we could keep it. But it is inappropriate."
Shiny: "Ms. L, come on. Its only inappropriate for people with dirty minds. You could want to rock a girl's bed just for fun."

WAIT WHAT? You could ROCK A GIRL'S BED for FUNSIES? OH my lord I need to teach smaller kiddos.
