This is poor?
"Central Falls is Rhode Island’s poorest city, where 41 percent of children live in poverty and nearly two-thirds of the students at the high school qualify for free or reduced-price lunch."
Really? Let's discuss how "nearly" two-thirds equates with about..what..62-65% of students. That means that 35% of students pay full price for lunch.
At my school, I feel like only 2 or 3 students per grade (so about 20 students) actually PAY for lunch.
I'll show you poor, Rhode Island. Over 90% of my students are on free or reduced lunch.
Oh, and more than 7% of my students can pass a math test. Just saying.
