Things that I dislike:
Caging children in like animals so they can take a test for 4 days. FOUR DAYS.
No WONDER my kiddos don't pass this stupid test. I would stop caring if I had to take a test for 4 days. One day, I write. The next 3 days, I take reading and math tests. Really? Really?
When adults take tests, they finish and then get to leave. But not my kids. They finish and then have to sit in silence until everyone is done. DO YOU KNOW HOW DISTRACTING THAT IS?
Oh, let's all stare at the one kid who is actually TRYING to do well and give him the STINK EYE because we have to be silent. And we're in 7th grade. So peer pressure works. So then we fill in those last few questions as quickly as possible so that everyone can stop being silent.
OH STANDARDIZED TESTING. I HATE YOU SOMETIMES.
