Loving this idea posed in the NYTimes.
How cute would it be to have 8 year olds discussing philosophy?
I think we need to do more of this in school....its hard to teach older children that it is okay to have feelings and beliefs as long as they can justify and reason their feelings/beliefs.
If we start teaching it at a young age, it will lead to more tolerance, rational thinking, etc.
Maybe the kiddos can start discussing the whole tree making noise in a forest when no one is there....
