Well, AIMS scores came out. (Not going to talk about the negative and the tons of red I see).
But here's my small victory:
I got 8 kiddos to go from the MEETS category to the EXCEEDS category. That's almost 10% of my kiddos moving up from "ready to go on to 8th grade" to "really, really beyond ready for 8th grade!"
THIS. IS. AMAZING. I am SO proud of my kiddos. (and only 2 of them were in the advanced class).
Oh and the one negative I'm excited about? Devil child (Oh, Ms. L, we're going to let his parents hate you, intimidate you, and drive him to another school because he doesn't want to be in your class again....) got an approaches and last year, when I taught him, a meets.
