P values and z scores and variance, oh my!

Oh I'm in pig heaven this week.

Working on determining cut scores for our state test in math. What does that mean? I, and a group of 14 other people, determine what you have to answer correctly to pass our state test.

If you boil it down, I'm essentially creating the AYP threshold.

Intense, yes. Amazing? Also yes. I'm surrounding by p values, z scores, multiple norming points, variance and standard deviation, and assessment, assessment, assessment!

So. Much. Fun. I'm not kidding. I never thought I'd love stats until now.
