We have chaos.

I teach kids from chaos daily.

Sometimes, we cannot affirm them daily because ohhhh they drive me nuts.

I wish there were more alternative schools that focused on these kiddos. My kiddos. Because my school is not working for them.

Ninja?

So many crazy things happened today.

First, two of my funny boys asked to help tutor after school. Its hilarious because they actually help me a lot. I don't have to do as much work when they help...who knew?

One of them told the kiddos: "Don't worry about me. I'm a black ninja." WHAT?

And today, mini-sirloin burger came over to me to ask me a question. He did not have his shirt tucked in. THIS KID gets a referral daily for not having his shirt tucked in. I said, "Mini, why do you not have your shirt tucked in?"

Without thinking, he replied, "Ms. L, I had my shirt tucked in but then I had to untuck it when I sit down because when I sit down with it tucked in it pulls up my boxers and gives me a wedgie."

SHUT UP, MINI. YOU DID NOT JUST TELL YOUR 7th GRADE MATH TEACHER ABOUT YOUR WEDGIE.

I laughed hysterically which is bad because we were all being quiet. And no one else heard him.

But at least I know why you don't tuck your shirt in.
