My phone rings when I'm walking to my apartment and the caller ID says that it is my sister. Now, it is rare that she actually calls me...and when she does, it means she wants to talk about herself. So I answer the phone, and Lisa says, "I have something really important to tell you."
"What? Did you get engaged?"
"No. I have to tell you the best joke I have ever heard."
"Really? The best joke ever?"
"Yes. Ever. Ready? Knock knock."
"Who's there?"
"Smell mop."
"Lisa, this joke was on Top Chef last week. Antonia said it on the phone to her daughter. I'm not answering you."
"Really? It was? Damn. But its SO funny. Just say it."
"Fine. Smell mop who?"
Lisa ends the conversation in a fit of giggles. Did I mention that she's 2 years older than I am?
