Completely inappropriate

B and I had a completely inappropriate email exchange today.  On our work emails.  Because of the state test.

I'm reliving it here because it was absurd.

It all started when he sent 2 of my favorites from his class to visit me.  With a pass.  With a heart on it next to my name.

Me:
Putting a heart next to my name on that pass has just further fueled the "Ms. L loves Mr. B but he doesn't love her back debate."

And its reached down to my 5th graders.

Thanks B.

Him:
Haha! See, I thought putting the heart would let everyone know the feeling's mutual!;) Backfire!

Me:
I swoon.

I attached the note to my desk.  :)

Him:
Dammit. As pervy as I am, I can think of nothing pervy and clever to say back to that...which was my plan! No points for me!! I might even be scoreless for the year. Weird!

Me:
The correct response would have been:

"That's not the only thing of mine that I want on your desk."

Zing.

Him:
See, I thought about going that direction, but didn't know if it was dirty enough to earn me a point! Haha. You need to set one up for me toget me back in the swing of things. Say something like, "Man, these testing days are so long and hard."

Me:
Okay.

"Man, these testing days really take it out of you.  I'm so tired when I'm done."

Him:
Wow, so many ways to take this one (that's what she said). Hahaha
1. I'll put it in you if you like.
2. Testies can actually be quite enjoyable.
3. If you're not tired when you're done, someone hasn't done their job.

:O I'm back!

Me:
Those were amazing.  (That's what she said)

Actual quote after I had read them: "Ms. L, why are you smiling? Are you texting Mr. B?"

Him:
If you think that makes you smile...

Couldn't even finish it:) It feels good to be scoring again. Hahaha

Me:
Are you telling me it's been a while since you've scored?

I could fix that.

Him:
Well played! Though you left me stumped again! I don't know where to take that one (You're welcome).
